The reason most of us horses feel challenged by human demands is quite simple. It is about sensitivity.

Sensitivity is the foundation of our identity. We are highly attuned in all of the physical senses which our body enables us to perceive through. As well as our ability to feel the edge of vibrational energy, before we translate it into the external world. This sensitivity is so amplified, so rich, so wondrous, that we bathe in it every day. We are held and embraced and utterly consumed by this sensory experience of life. Even just standing still, our sensitivity is generating wave after wave of being-ness. We are so alive!  

The Ice Sculpture of Frozen Thought

Imagine now, that you come to us, and you have a different experience of alive. Your mind makes thoughts that tell you a story. Bubbling like a source, it is continuously producing more. Imagine that these thoughts surface like water only to freeze as they run down over older, yet similar thoughts. They create an ice sculpture of beliefs, which seems so solid and true.

The ice sculpture of previous thought tells of purpose and rules, reasons and concepts. There are frozen thoughts about past experiences and how they will influence the future. There is a whole identity there, made of thoughts, that tells you how things should be and what you believe. 

How Can We Connect?

So when you come to us, where do we meet? We cannot meet an ice sculpture of frozen thought in this present experiential moment of sensitivity. You often ask us to come with you, to take you on our back, to submit to your physical demands because of the identity of you, and not the sensitivity of you. And we get lost. Our sensitivity is generating a million impressions, sensations, emotions and there is no moment to contemplate, to listen to feel. Our natural physiological defences to danger rise up strong to protect our body, and our sentience departs to safer energetic realms. Over time this departure becomes habitual as the chasm between our sensitivities stays stubbornly wide. How can we stay and experience fully such a bombardment? 

And yet there is such a beautiful pathway so many of our beloved human friends are exploring now. You also are sensitive beyond measure when you redirect your awareness. Some of you have already broken open your ice sculpture, seeing it for the bland, illusory incoherence that it is. In gently slowing down the flow of thought creation, you become aware of other voices, other flow. The voices of Nature, of the Universe, which remind you of the colourful living being you truly are. You discover a new flow of Oneness, that you seem to receive and become and yet it is your existential root. You are this colourful timeless flow that cannot freeze.

Remembering Curiosity Together

And the joy of these moments together, when we stand and sit and walk and run. When we share sensitivity together. The interchange of sensation, of perception, of mutual awakening in universal flow is beautiful beyond thought. When we are hearing each other, and engaging in this moment, we discover such a light filled dialogue. 

You sense the nature of demands on our free spirit, so delicate and fierce, and your demands soften and become invitations. And if we are not ready to join, you embrace unreadiness. The steel-walled tiny room of expectation melts bit by bit as your ice sculpture of frozen thoughts is melting. Together we remember curiosity, and how to see like children, with unveiled eyes again. We can explore the new space of potential, which has no walls. Maybe we can even play together and we can offer you a new experience of power and grace unlocked from all controls and guided simply, by the kindness of trust.  

The Miracle Unfolding

Our journey together is a mutual responsibility. You cannot cage us and we will not awaken you. We will not cage you and you cannot awaken us. We will return from wherever we escaped to when our experience in your company was overwhelming. You will remember the colourful eternal flow of now that is your home.

And in our physical bodies, with our magnificent sensitivity, we will rejoin. Not to return to separation, when we didn’t know each other, and our wildness could not meet. But right now, in this miracle unfolding, this revolutionary meeting place that will be replicated in so many ways all across this world. Right now we are aligning and generating a new and sparkling coherence which will rewrite all that came before that is not love.
