The Sacred Space of Dying with Mary Walby

Part 1: We start by discussing the question of body and soul and how that relates to dying. Moving into why animals deaths are treated differently from our own, the subject of pain, and the joy within, and finally talking about accepting the natural death process, understanding it and how the soul leaves.

Part 2: Going into what it means when the light goes out in horses’ eyes, and moving on into why we treat death in animals the way we do, veterinary protocol, responsibility and the horses’ opinion. After this Mary describes her experience of creating a profoundly authentic dialogue during the dying process.

Part 3: We talk about natural grief and how it is processed within the dying process, different forms of dying and the gift within. Mary then describes her heart opening journey with one horse and we talk about the portal of pain. Finally she explains where she is now with her hospice work, and her two new classes.

God’s Window Senior Horse Rehab is the compilation of everything I have learned to date from this horse, and others on how to bring about a fully alive senior horse. The results are amazing… read more
